Location: Hilbert, WI
Hilbert, a small village on the Niagara escarpment, epitomizes the small rural Wisconsin town. This project, a speculative office building was undertaken by a local businessman seeking to bring additional businesses to the town. Positioned between Manitowoc, Green Bay, and the Fox Cities, Hilbert provides a strategic base for businesses operating in all of those municipalities, while possessing the luxuriously paced small town atmosphere. The singular building was divided into five distinct facades; each created in their own distinct style. The effect of this was to create the impression of a city block that was built over a span of years in the late 19th century. Inspiration for the project was drawn from many of the surrounding rural communities. The development will not only draw additional business to Hilbert, but it will help to further define the edges of their Main Street.
